I am trying to enlist in the Marine Corps and they told me to get my legal stuff taken care of. Well i have a couple of warrants, no insurance, bad check, and my DWI probation was revoked after nearly finishing it. so im sure there is a warrant out for that also. So can i pay a lawyer to lift the warrants so i can get them paid without sitting them out.? I really want to be a MARINE. thanks for the help.

  1. If your lawyer contacts all the jurisdictions where you have warrants, goes to the courthouse with you, pays your bond and sets up new court dates for each charge and has you attend, then yes.

Question is, why pay a lawyer to do this when you can do it yourself?

I arrest folks all the time on active warrants who sincerely tell me that their lawyer had told them he’d taken care of the warrant.

  2. Lawyer and attorney are not same. Attorneys work with the courts, as in robbing the people in the name of justice when there is no justice. If you have the money all these problems will go away, otherwise you may have to set these out. Cops and all courts are trash. Don’t put to much hope in these traitors.

  3. A lawyer can not do this him/her self, but rather a judge has the ultimate say in whether or not to lift the warrants. Contact the judge where the warrants were issued, but looking at your list problems there, the warrants most likely won’t be lifted and good luck ever becoming a Marine.
